Service Description
Cloud elk provides vehicle rental services throughout Australia. Our platform allows you to browse available vehicles, submit reservation requests, and access information about our services. Final confirmation of all bookings is subject to vehicle availability and acceptance of rental terms.
Booking and Reservations
When you submit a reservation request through our website:
- You are making an offer to rent the selected vehicle under the stated terms
- We will confirm availability within 2 business hours
- A binding contract is formed only upon our written confirmation
- Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include GST
- Payment is required before vehicle pickup unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed
Eligibility Requirements
To rent a vehicle from cloud elk, you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Hold a valid driver's license for the class of vehicle being rented
- Provide acceptable identification at pickup
- Meet our insurance requirements
Vehicle Use
Renters agree to:
- Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes
- Operate the vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws
- Not allow unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle
- Not use the vehicle for racing, off-road driving (unless specifically authorized), or commercial purposes
- Return the vehicle in the same condition as received, ordinary wear excepted
Insurance and Liability
All rentals include comprehensive insurance coverage. However:
- Deductibles apply as specified in the rental agreement
- Certain damages may not be covered, including those resulting from unauthorized use
- You are responsible for damage or loss resulting from negligence or violation of rental terms
Cancellation Policy
Reservations may be cancelled subject to the following terms:
- Cancellations more than 48 hours before pickup: full refund
- Cancellations 24-48 hours before pickup: 50% charge
- Cancellations less than 24 hours before pickup: full charge
- No-show: full charge
